Tiling specialist invests 100,000 in e-learning academy

Tiling company Schl ter-Systems has invested 100,000 in a free online e-learning academy to develop people working in its industry.

The web-based training facility is an online learning management system and provides free 24 hour access to a range of product and continuing professional development courses.

The Leicestershire-based company, which specializes in tile installation projects ranging from bathrooms to hydroelectric dams, says the facility will work alongside its existing training programmes for installers, distributors, architects, retailers, stockists, tiling lecturers at colleges and trainers at independent training centres.
